Driver Stores Sharjah Job – Overview
The Driver Stores Sharjah job involves performing day-to-day transportation services including collection and delivery of aircraft spare parts to support operational requirements. The role ensures items for repair are delivered and collected on time while following all adopted safety and operational procedures.
Driver Stores Sharjah Job – Key Responsibilities
- Handle aircraft spare parts carefully during transportation
- Deliver aircraft parts between main stores and line stores
- Safely transport unserviceable aircraft spares to dispatch areas
- Deliver spare parts to Freight Forwarders or MROs as instructed
- Assist Stores Controller in packing export materials
- Follow all UAE traffic laws and company driving procedures
- Ensure safety of passengers, components, goods, and company vehicle
- Maintain company vehicles in proper operating condition
- Keep vehicles clean and ensure no-smoking policy compliance
- Carry out outdoor operational tasks when required
- Follow health and safety standards and complete risk assessments
Qualifications
- High School or Diploma in any stream
- Physically fit and dynamic
- Acceptable computer skills
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Valid UAE driving license required
Work Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar driver role
- Airport and ramp transportation experience is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Sharjah and Dubai roads and routes
- Updated knowledge of diversions and road construction projects
- Familiar with UAE traffic regulations and updates
- Willing to work shifts and respond to urgent operational needs
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Dependable and self-motivated personality
