Application Tips for UAE Job Seekers
- Optimize your CV: Keep your CV to two pages. Highlight specific restaurant or kitchen roles with measurable achievements. For example, write “reduced plate waste by 15%” instead of “waste was reduced by 15%.”
- State your visa status clearly: Write your current visa type and expiry date at the top of your CV. Recruiters need this information immediately.
- Mention your notice period: State exactly how many days you need before joining. Immediate availability or a 15-day notice period gives you a strong advantage.
- Include a professional photo: Add a neat, shoulders-up photo on a plain background. UAE hospitality employers still expect this.
- Write a short cover letter: Attach one paragraph explaining why you love working with people and food. This personal touch will set you apart from other applicants.
